Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what information Autopilot collects, how we use it, and the steps we take to keep it safe.

1. Information we collect
We only collect the information we need to help you use Autopilot. This includes:
- Your email address and account details when you sign up.
- Information about your business, such as your business name, industry, and tone of voice, so we can create relevant content for you.
- Social media account connections you choose to link, so we can publish or schedule posts on your behalf.
- Usage data, such as how many posts you generate or how often you chat with Lou, so we can manage plan limits and improve the experience.
- Technical data like your browser type and device information, to help us keep the app secure and reliable.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve Autopilot's features, including AI-generated posts, content ideas, and scheduling.
- Keep your account secure and manage your subscription.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
- Enforce plan limits and prevent misuse of the service.
- Understand how the app is used so we can make it calmer, simpler, and more helpful.
3. AI and your content
When you ask Autopilot to write a post or generate an idea, we send your input to our AI partners to produce a response. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we only share what is necessary to generate the response you requested. Always review AI-generated content before publishing.
4. Who can see your data
Your data is private to your account. We use strict access controls so that you can only see your own posts, business profile, and settings. Our team may access your data only when necessary to provide support or keep the service running, and only under strict confidentiality.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit, secure authentication, and row-level security in our database. While we do our best to protect your data, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. We may also use basic analytics to understand how people use Autopilot, but we do not sell your data or use invasive tracking.
7. Your rights
You can update or delete your account and most of your data at any time from within Autopilot. If you need help accessing, correcting, or deleting your information, please contact us at hello@autopilot.social.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email or through the app.
